David Garcia Studio's submission for the International UNESCO Delta City of the Future competition, has been awarded first prize. Out of 57 teams world wide, and after being one of the 7 teams selected in the first round, we were invited to Rotterdam to take part in the final, 24-hour competition session. The brief aimed to give solutions to the flood risk area of the harbour and the redevelopment taking place in Rotterdam. We were announced as winners at the Delta Climate Change Conference.
